Time is mid-afternoon on a school day.

Girl lies on couch, nearly hidden by the multitude of blankets.
Girl pats area about her wildly with her arms, in search of something.
Lifts blankets in a scurry to find the missing object.
Pats the head-rest behind her.
Pats remote, ecstatic at having found the sacred object.
The control to all amusement, to the screen by which the sick can view the healthy.
A View of The Healthy-- living their lives.
...But accidently sweeps the remote to the floor behind the couch.

Girl
Hmmph.

Girl attempts an odd back bend, reaching over the couch in a twisted pose,
attempting to reach the remote without leaving the sancitity of her beloved couch.
Reaches further. Further. Splat. On the floor.
