How Do I Go On?
In the midst of all this darkness, you are there
Even through the pain, I feel your presence, your strength
As the anger builds inside me, you breathe new life into my veins
I can’t help feeling alone and empty inside
But your grip keeps me from falling to a place where only death can reach me
Your grace alone keeps my feet firmly planted and your words speak hope into my heart
Even as my soul longs to end the pain, faith rises up in me
Because I know you are there
As my strength will fail me
My faith in you stands firm
