I Wish

I wish I was a bird, so I could fly away.
I wish I was the sun, so then I would shine all day.
I wish I was a fish, then I could be free.
I wish I was myself, then I would be me.
I wish I was a window, so people would see right through.
I wish I were the man that everyone knew.
I wish I was a story that everybody read.
I wish I was broken so I could be mend.
