let it burn, suffering teaches the soul; let it grow, love nourishes the heart.

life is nothing but a clock,
waiting for that one last tock,
that will signal the end,
and then what else with death lend,
but a life ending hand,
and in the world of death you land,
to discover new things,
and that life is but a ring,
that you get one lap around,
before you reach the gap in the ground,
and then you will see,
what you are to be,
when you die,
so for now you try,
to live life as good as can be,
and when you die you will see.

I love this, describing the uncertainty of death and how you have to seize every moment! You made some cool comparisons, and rhymed very well. This is an amazing poem!
