If you only knew
If you only knew how your face haunts me
Your presence interrupts my dreams
How I dread to hear our song
My heart skips a beat when I see those pictures
Of the memories of time well wasted
If you only knew how badly you’ve hurt me
I swear I never want to love again
Why get so attached
When nothing lasts forever
Just like that all the love and happiness escapes you
Gets taken away from you
Suddenly you are nothing
No other half to make you whole
Thoughts of suicide and depression
If you only knew how empty you’ve made me
You never loved me
Why am I living with this pain
When you are not feeling a thing
If you only knew how tired I am of crying
Crying of the lost time and passion
Crying because you broke my heart
But not today
I am not shedding tears for you
You aren’t worth my tears
And it took me this long to realize that
