Stage Fright
“Now presenting Mike the Magician.”
I imagined them all in their underwear.
Breathe in
Breathe out
I take my first step
It's show time.
“It kinda funny that my name is Mike the Magician
when I'm actually a comedian.”
Silence.
“You know what's really funny?”
“My mom actually thinks I’m a magician, not a comedian”
Silence.
“If only she knew that I wasn’t actually pulling scarves out my mouth,”
Silence.
“Well”
Silence
“Urm”
Silence.
Their clothes start to appear again
Breathe in
Breathe out
Silence.
