Vibrations seeking calmness
Ripple through my body
Thoughts pound upon my blue soul
Look inside,
I'm really me,
Somewhere inside that jungle of brain waves
Forget about the book cover
Look at the epilogue,
Or even skip to the last sentence in my story
But don't play the same old tune everyone else does
Strike a different note in me,
And open up my song book
Each note a breath of me,
And what I truly am
Don't listen to the words,
Listen to the feeling
Look beyond skin deep
If the outside is what you see
Then you don't know the half of me ...
You can't know me.
