Looking into the past
I look to the reflection glass
Looking to see
A girl colored like brass
Looking back at me
By the look in her eyes
I could tell she was hurt
By the little sighs
Her heart had been burnt
As the tears fall
I feel then too
Her body becomes all
Black and blue
A scarlet river
Running from her arm
Giving me a shiver
To see this harm
This is my past
This girl I see
Nothing was meant to last
Although we were meant to be
I look away
Away from the brass girl
This is a new day
New time, new world
