The Tear of Joy
Burning
Like maggots eating away at flesh
Sadness
Like a knife slow cutting.
Fear
Like the roar of a jet engine.
Slowly being engulfed
Covered in darkness
Despair
Like blood seeping out of a wound
Black,
Everything slowly becomes black
Tears
Streaming out like a river
Remorse
Like the feeling of not being able to say goodbye
Regret?
None at all
Flowers blooming in the spring
Little children scamper down the park
Smiles across all faces
A feeling of lightness
An extravagance beyond any other
A peaceful rest in the grassy shade
A never ending dream
And an everlasting slumber
People above are crying of loss
While six feet under
A tear of joy is shed
