I'm not who you think
it was all a show
Whoever I am
you will never know
The mask that I wear
is of iron steel
Hiding the scars
that cannot heal
Ignorance is a gift
that I bring to you
Letting us be friends
til the day is through
Then peel back my skin
to see underneath
Laugh and shun as
I weep and bleed
Tear me apart with
your teeth and fur
For neither were you
who I thought you were
