"Three Skeleton Key" Haunts Me
I see “Three Skeleton Key” welcoming a scary sight
Shimmery and transparent images of rickety bones fill the dark night
Hordes and hordes of muddy and determined red eyed rats
Covering, smothering, hovering on the foggy, murky glass
They stare viciously into your unsuspecting eyes warning that you will be next
I see “Three Skeleton Key” guiding you to your death
I hear “Three Skeleton Key” silencing your incessant brain
Screeching, moaning, groaning forcing the sounds to play an unfair game
Steady breaths slowing, then stopping abruptly- only tiny laughs echo into vast emptiness
The creators, the monsters derisive and superior whisper in the shadowy darkness
Gnawing, blaring through the tower, the unmistakable pitter patter of feet
I hear “Three Skeleton Key” the rats want something to eat
I smell “Three Skeleton Key” rancid odors galore
Piercing, burning all nostrils from the outside to the core
Decomposing and moldy bodies, urinating vermin, fleas, and salty blood
Be glad the stenches here don’t terrorize your neighborhood
Smells of terrible hygiene, no baths to wash the funk of the day
I smell “Three Skeleton Key” for it will never go away
I feel “Three Skeleton Key” the coarse fur of fear
Red warmth dribbling down my limbs collecting into a pool that is never clear
Icy hands run up and down my spine- sending shivers to my bones
Burning beads blanket my forehead- sending my callused fingertips into a chilly home
The blood inside me set ablaze by rodents who are diseased and hungry
I feel “Three Skeleton Key” the rats under my feet are in a frenzy
