Nevermore
You told me it was nothing
Said it would be ok
That darkness would not win you over
And the light would find its way
You told me you would stay...
Forevermore
You said you were ill
But as time would tick
You would feel much better
You would not be sick
And the disease would not stick
Forevermore
You started to become pale
You told me it was the cold
That once the sun came out
You would shine like gold
And those lies you told
Forevermore.
You fell to the ground
You whole body shook
Not a word you uttered
Not a single breathe you took
You could not take one last look
Forevermore
You died that evening
I did not want to see
My heart broke in half
You lied to me
You soul was to be
Nevermore
