Manifesto of Writers
It’s a quick twitch feeling. Something just makes sense out of the metaphors and oxymorons. As the writer sits in front of their computer or paper, words and Times New Roman come to focus like Magic Eye.
The Butterflies start to come up. The words and vocab patterns speckled on their wings. For a writer, the nervousness and bad feelings cocooned in their gut, as Butterflies, are poems or stories to be pressed in book pages.
To get them out and ready to press, the writer must get their Butterflies out. Some pull them out of their mouths like teeth. Some just have them fluttering on their face. There is nothing purely perfect about the Butterflies though. There can be tattered wings sometimes.
The writer has to piece and bind the Butterflies together. The scattered flaking wings with thoughts and memories on them. This is a process each writer must create on their own. When they’re finally pressed as pages, let the people be pondered and thought provoked.
As they get to see the Butterflies.
