The Boy Scout
The man with many badges
Knows how to pitch a tent
But he fails to realize
That he makes my heart contempt
He reaches the summit
Yet he wishes to climb higher
The camp is nice and warm
I’m the one that is on fire
The Boy Scout reaches camp
And writes to those at home
I’m hoping that is says, “Dear Sarah”
As I sit alone
