Circle Poem

November 10, 2008
By Anonymous

The untold story of her
Her, a mother who just left
Left her with an alcoholic father
Father, slurring in his step, walked away
Away, leaving her with a sister and brother
Brother, mute, halfway across the world
World, U.S., new for only 2 years
Years of pain kept inside of her
Her, she’s moved on now
Now, her story is told

this is my story of when i was adopted. and it is called the circle poem because the last word in the line is the same as the first in the next line.
