Abused
He was abused for me
He looked inhumanly
They beat and whipped
He was equipped
To do what he must
To save me

He was abused for me
They spit in his face
This was indeed
The human race
They mocked him and said,
“soon you’ll be dead”
But he did wat he must
to save me

He was abused for me
Striped of human dignity
Dying all alone
When He should be on throne
But He did what he must
to save me

He was abused for me
Many were weeping
But he hung there, God’s son
And said forgive them for they know not
what they’ve done
so he did what he must
to save me

He was abused for me
They speared his side
Look at him they said,
“He’s got no pride”
Then as He drew his last breath
and closed his eyes
He was no longer by their sides
For he did what he must
to save me

He was abused for me
When he died his
followers wept and cried

Then they placed him
in the tomb; and said,
“It’s no use, He’s gone, He’s dead”
But when they went to mourn that day
they found the tomb had rolled away

Miriam saw 2 angels inside
They said to her, He’s Alive!”
She ran to the others
And shouted and said,
He’s Alive, He’s not dead

They found him preaching
on top of a hill
He spoke to the people,
“Do Listen, Be still
For I’m leaving right now
But will be back some day.
To take all believers to heaven
to stay.

So he rose up to heaven
To go reign on his throne
He assured all his people
they were not Alone.

If you gave you will,
again see me.
And very happy you will be
So He’d done what he must
To save

He was abused for me
Now who is this “He”
His name is Jesus
And he did what he must
To save me.
