A Year Without Care
When warmth and heat thaw the winter cold,
And budding blossoms cover trees of old,
Then leaves sprout out and surround trees tenfold,
and people re-tell the tales of old.
I Won't Care.
As Summer heat warms the grassy knolls,
And Starry nights are seen through metal poles,
With children doing tricks in swimming holes,
And barbeques light up the blackened coals,
I Won't Care.
When the mists of Autumn blow the gentle breeze,
And rivers flow smoothly between the trees,
Only trader ships sail upon the seas,
And all the "Rover"s full of ticks and fleas,
I Won't Care.
As Winter winds cool the cloudy skies,
And as frosty flakes make cold the head and eyes,
With frozen lakes and heat from Christmas pies,
It shouldn't come as a suprise
That I Won't Care.

People get too wrapped up in the festivities and traditions of life, that we all forget to remember what life is about.
