They don't see the way
he looks at the sky,
The way that he smiles,
The way that he cries,
They don't see his eyes
a dark forest green,
They hide in the dark
and glow when they're seen,
I watch him each day
with stars in my head,
I hang on each word,
Each line that is said,
Why won't he look up?
Why won't he see?
Why won't he look back?
Why won't he notice me?
