Jealousy
JEALOUSY.
Jealousy is a sink covered in dishes
A place that hides forgotten wishes,
But blink and find, the melon rinds are gone
And then too soon has been too long.
Jealousy reeks and goes tap-tap-tap
To ooze from one to the next
And each will say 'it was just a jest'
But inside, a monster rests
Tearing apart
Breaking the bones, caressing the heart
Jealousy sounds like BOOM-BOOM-BOOM
It echoes in, an empty room
And up from the lake will rise a loon
Flying away, going too soon.
But jealousy slides, and jealousy curves
And up a plate of regret will be served
Jealousy's cruel, jealousy's dined
Jealousy lives, upon your mind.
