Why Do I sleep?

They ask me why I am always asleep
The only answer that comes to mind is
That I am tired, but that is not the truth
I sleep when I get home. I sleep through
The night. I sleep at school and I sleep
In the car. I spend over half my day asleep,
Why? Maybe it is the fact that I have
Nothing better to do but sleep. No one
To talk to. Am I lonely? Am I sad?
Why do I sleep?

I want the reader to relate to my piece. I want them to know that just because someone always sleeps does not mean that they are lazy or stay up all night. They could be sad, lonly or depressed. I want them to look at things through anothers point of view. Maybe that sleepy girl in class does not know exactly why she sleeps so much.
