I claim a blank page
I claim the ability to change
I claim centre stage
leave your audacity at home
I am free, let me roam
play not the troubled fool
I can see you hunger to rule
let us leave the tattered orchard
what you've heard is blurred
there's no telling what they'll be selling
not truth but lies
bring not friends but spies
court is not the place to be naive
nor is it the place to grieve
run before they catch you
before they scratch the truth.
