the
most important
things
were the
ones I never told
you. like how
when I
was
alone the
sun dimmed the
clouds got darker the
rain got colder the lightning
got scarier and the
thunder louder like
how without
you
with me
laughter
silenced smiles
were erased fun
was illegal and memories
became irreplaceable my
life was
my
hourglass that
at first the
sand inside started sinking
slower with each passing moment
as went on time
and each grain
fell my
palms
grasped tighter
to the greased
metal bar called hope
until my hands slipped then
i watched my hourglass
was falling falling
crashing smashing
shattered.
