The Protectors' of the World
When we look up,
We see the world.
In that pivotal moment;
all time seems to have stopped.
Almost in a matrix sort of sense.
The crying, the hurting,
the tears are not enough.
And as the sun rises so does the violence end.
So we all fight on, as crime stoppers of the world,
Good Samaritans at hand.
Then there are those who stood
and just watched, as all passes by.
Whethere tis the light of day
or the darkness of tomorrow.
Nothing, but livilhood itself could ever bring an end.
So,
When we look up,
To see the world.
To watch the poor suffer,
the homeless starve.
Think of everything and all that you are.
In all of your goodliness, can you really bring?
The hope, the integrity to live on,
to persevere.
At the tall statues, towering above all,
we are the tiny aunts, we are small.
