The Lion
The lion had eluded hunters for years.
His guttural growl the sum of all fears.
Then one day, a hunter decided
That his this spectre could not be abided.
He tracked the lion back to its hub
And saw it feeding its lion cub.
The hunter couldn’t hesitate, no matter how many it had sired
So he took breath, took aim, and fired.
