Fire
“Stop?”
How can I?
When every fiber of my body says
“Go”
Be who you were meant to be
Apart of the finished wooden floor
Pale bright light washing over my caramel color skin
Excitement and fear blending together in my stomach to create a
Fire
In my soul saying this is
“Who you are”
and never ever let go of the
Fire
In you, growing and glowing brighter and brighter
So when you tell me to stop
I’ll say one thing and one thing only,
“Never”
