Tick Tock
The clock passes 1
Then 2
Then 3
Then 4
I stare at the paper
Not moving
Not speaking
My thoughts are a turmoil
Like a storm in my head
So loud, I hear it always
The silence is deafening
I wonder what to write
Tick Tock
I cannot focus
Everything blurs together
Like cheese in a fondue pot
Tick Tock
Sticky, they attach together
Until I can’t discern one from the other
