Ode to Love
Love can mean lots of different things
Maybe having so much adoration for a person
Or expressing yourself through a hobby you enjoy
All that matters is that you care
If you are fortunate enough
to be shot with Cupid’s arrow
you need to hang on to that feeling
as it will be the best feeling you will ever experience
If you love your family
You will cherish and respect them
They will make you laugh and cry
And will fully support you when you are down
If you love a special object
It will bring joyful, happy memories
That you can reminisce with friends
and cherish forever
So what I am saying is
Love means you care for people around you
And they care for you too
Love is unexpected
and can creep up on you
like a sudden burst of rain
It may try to bring you down
with the rain feeling like teardrops
But those positive memories will outshine it
like a gleaming ray of sunshine
