Stars
In the silent evening
The stars draw out pictures
Only for those who seek the tales
Of the past, the Kings and queens who ruled
The courageous ones who stood tall
The gods, the mysteries and stories untold
As you stare in amazement
The stars stare back
They're not disappointed in the story they've seen you take part in
With fascination, the stars admire your beauty
Just as your admire theirs
The light you both put off, a light in the dark, is stunning in every way
But, you can't see your light and the stars can't see their light
Trust me, your light is like the stars
