inertia makes the world spin

we can't feel this because at the same constant speed we're all moving with it

but regardless, the whole Earth is spinning 

as a little kid when this is explained to you

you can literally feel your head spin

trying to fathom something so crazy and out of control is happening

you stand and close your eyes and imagine the ground beneath your feet moving

and you feel it 

you tell the person explaining this to you and they laugh 

you just try to wrap your head around this fact that changes your world 

this is how I feel right now 

like learning to live with this new reality

is what I have to accept 

i can’t understand it 

i’m not ready yet but I doesn’t change the facts 

and someone’s God is just laughing

and my head won’t stop spinning 

with this life altering eye changing new world 

without you in it
