Dear Sprite,

I miss your sweet simplicity. 

You are my holiday;

I only enjoy your gifts what feels like once a year.

You don’t need excessive amounts of color to draw me in (unlike other brands).

Your transparency is more attractive anyway.

You’re not as healthy as V8, nor as unhealthy as Mountain Dew,

you’re the very definition of moderation.

You are liquid perfection in a can.

When I gulp you down, 

fiz explodes in my mouth.

I can’t imagine myself drinking anything else.

People try to argue about you and your distant cousin, Coke,

but there’s nothing to argue about--

you’re superior in every way.

I could slurp up the whole ocean

and I would still salivate

at the pop of your tab.
