Heavenly Abode
Departures and partings are painful
They pile up droplets of tears in the eyes
When the voice of the heart weeps
It inflicts unimaginable agony.
Death isn't just a goodbye
It's an indirect welcome
To the heaven bound skies
A wake-up call for man's soul
To rise above the eternity.
Life is short to measure
But hard to comprehend
Living it to the fullest
Is still a distant dream.
For life is in continuous motion
And introspection, a rusted thought
Hopes are plenty
But none to spare
When death knocks at the door
I open myself to it........
