I Am Alone

I am alone in this world
with no home to call my own
I am alone in this world
with no family I can hug
My dreams are sad and somber
with nonexistent friends
My food and water are tasteless
with no happiness to fill my ends
For I am alone in this world
and alone I will remain
For I am an orphan
with no kin
but only tears to fill my thirst
