My Parents
A life of never ending struggles
A life wreathed with the flowers of sacrifice
A life scented with the fragrance of love
A life incomplete in itself
That's my parents life.
The roots which hold the plants firmly
The mother bird who fed her children lovingly
The powerful sun that brightens up everything
The rain droplets that shower heavenly blessings
My parents are those to me.
Their prayers and sufferings
Keeps me where I'm today
When I touch their delicate palms
I can feel that roughness
Which made me stiff.
Wherever I go
Whatever I become
They're the prime reason
For me being myself...

Never can you quantify the love and sacrifices made by your parents because how much ever you do it's still underrated. My parents have made lots of selfless sacrifices in life without compromising with the ethics and principles they were brought up with. So this poem is for all their days of pain and struggles...
