 you say “I think I look better with glasses”

no glasses

because it covers

the slight crease above your eyes that show only when you look up to the sky

panda eyes I think

your dark circles are like the moon

towering over someone like me 

      you, in a black sweater

                 khakis

                      white sneakers

etched between each 

blink

in my eyes, I see you again.

(no glasses)

so I can see myself in yours too
