What the Sun Said

What the sun said,
That a holy ruby fire rises
From the east and falls towards the west.
She can’t escape from the loop
That repeats every dawn and dusk.
But we can’t hear her plea,
We can just watch the reddish clouds fade
Every 7pm;
And sigh,
“What a sunset.”
