Free of this virus that cursed us
Someday I will be writing a book
A book that lets us look
Back to the terrors of the pandemic
Someday my poems will be shared with the world
And I will be heard
Someday I will be dancing with the sun
on top of Machu Picchu
Someday I will be exploring temples, ziggurats,and rivers
by ancient Mesopotamia
Someday I will visit the well we helped provide
The well that has our name
Someday I will venture through Brazil
To the amazon rainforest
