Lost
Amid life's great journey,
I wandered off the path,
And found myself adrift and lost,
In a world both wild and vast.
The trees around me towered high,
Their leaves a sea of green,
But none of them could guide me back,
To where I should have been.
The sun beat down upon my skin,
And sweat ran down my face,
But still, I could not find my way,
To any known landmark or place.
And so I stumbled on and on,
Through fields and streams and hills,
Until at last, I found a road,
That led me back to stills.
And though I lost my way that day,
I learned a lesson true,
Sometimes being lost can lead to,
To the paths we never knew.
This is about losing your train of thought
