I shake my fists. Sometimes
Even carry a knife.
“You are cruel.”
I don’t know.
I went to the market today. As usual,
No ‘kindness’ on stock.
‘Care’ is too pricy.
I starved. I grabbed ‘violence’. The cheapest thing on the shelf.
These are not my arms,
Or my feet,
Or my will.
I am falling. The humane side
Of me is falling.
I got a punch.
Right on the face.
I am not going home today.
I will bury myself
Under the stone.
Do you have the ‘kindness’
That I could afford?
