“I was ashamed of myself when I realized life was a costume party; and I attended with my real face.” ~Franz Kafka

o’er redolence osmanthus how oft,

ine hereafter must she wax ‘nd wane.
thy moon soe’er vicissitudes plague in borne,
each succulent bosom o’ thou scatter’d.

qu’nch ist hunger e’ two-headed calf,

timely years thou may’st me behold.

up’n boughs o’er-brimm’d plumpish cheeks.

thou from pest’lence strick’n multitudes,

benediction ey’ octobre twil’ght.

mellifluous o’ even-tide of an inverterate Indian solistice,

adumbral acreages that ‘re unaromatic but replete o’ fecundity,

Never a feather’d varmint;~ repellent psalms touch’d of insects,

Thou grasshopper’s tocsin, toft’d far-off, aerial in the sorghums,

Thy’re gyration of a cicada languid eroding the silence

Let ver’ remember thou’st, vociferat’on of embroyonic insects,

Tailleur ‘n enffulgence, environs that are raveled wi’ asters,

Concede o’ beg me remember, forthwith will the wintertide be on us,

Sn’wdrift-laconic and h’avy.

O’er my quintessence sussuration yo’r aphasic orison,

While I gaze, O’ terra’ns that e’ somnolence af’er fruitage

Lest thyre forget o’em.
