No Sound
No Sound
No Whisper except the wind
The softest of cries
No one
The darkness closes in
Nothing but my own screams
No comfort, except the wind
The fog makes it impossible to see
No sound to guide me
No light to show me the way
My hands are numb
My breath is blue
My heart is breaking
Into thirteen pieces
Nothing
No one
No sound
Emptiness
Cold
Alone
No reassurance that I’m still whole
Except the wind
But even the wind stops blowing, eventually
Now I’m standing
The ground closes in
But I can’t scream
For I’m alone
