The smudges on her pillows,
places where her make-up ran as her wrist bled.
The nights she fell asleep,
not caring she was fully dressed.
Not caring if she woke the next morning,
wondering if she'd be better of dead.
This is the story of the smudges on her pillow,
and the pain they represent.
