your strength
What has happened to you my love?
The pink shades that inspired me to sketch your desired form
brown sadly at the edges,
imperfections scaring your smooth lustrous face,
light rain rests gently down
and you meekly bend,
panting for breath,
your smell though,
that warm joyful scent,
that is made of the same thing as laughter remains,
and you look at me not with defeat,
but with victory,
you are the last of the peonies
that have blessed this cold chain linked corner
