Innocence
All that I see,
Is a teenage boy
Confused,
staring right back at me.
His eyes filled with kindness,
A kindness most don’t ever know.
He smiles, his imperfect teeth,
Glowing with perfection.
The butterflies flutter
Around in my stomach
As if there’s something
different about him.
Innocence.
