Can't I Dream?
The way he smiles tells me something he would never say,
The way he says hello makes my day.
The way he looks at me tells me he could never stay,
The way I look at him tells him it's okay.
I know that we're on two different ends of the spectrum.
He's cool and,
Well, I'm not.
Even though I know "we" could never really be,
That doesn't mean,
I cannot dream.
