Kidnapped
A dark room,
Whispers from the other side,
Wet face,
And a puddle on the floor where she cried,
Only one ray of light bleeding through,
All she can do is imagine you,
Imagine her family and wish she was home,
Wishes she could leave,
Wishes someone would come,
Bleeding face,
And cracked skin,
Shaky fingers,
Curled up in the dirt,
Afraid he might come back,
And finish her off,
How could someone be so monstrous,
And so cruel,
Eyes darting around the room,
Stares at him coming,
His footsteps echo,
And with one more blow,
And her last breath,
Nothing would follow,
A dark room,
Whispers from the other side,
Wet face,
And a puddle on the floor where she died.
