My Love for You
My love is as deep as an ocean,
With no stream of fair thee well.
And with my dreams in motion,
My love has great stories to tell.
Love rocks me like a symphony,
Into the sweetest of slumber.
My love can't be expressed simply,
In even the greatest of number.
I could love you through the night and day,
And even after death.
Some men may sweep many women away,
But only you could stop my breath.
Many who reek with envy,
May try to cut my love thin.
I don't blame them if they are jealous of me,
Because love's nectar I bask in.
Daunting on a distasteful discrepancy,
Oh how I wish I knew.
For the sake of me I wish it were easy,
To find out if you like me as much as I like you.
