Worlds apart,
You know as well as I,
That it can never work.
But my heart speaks otherwise.
Telling me to hold you.
Telling me to kiss your forehead softly.
Screaming for me to hold you tighter and tell you everything is gonna be alright.
The truth is, I'm not so certain.
The truth is, I'm not so sure.
The truth is, I love you.
I cannot bear to see your tears.
I tell a joke to make you laugh.
Revealing a smile that captivates me.
A smile that melts my heart.
A smile that...
That is my reason for living.
A smile that makes me love you.

When a person is so helplessly in love, the wait can seem like an eternity...
