Toy Store
She stomps and steals your tender heart, and puts it in her shopping cart.
Of all the boys just like you, that when she speaks, turn to goo.
And when she feels a little sad, she'll scan the rows and find a lad-who'll sing to her and make her smile.
But when she's done she'll leave the aisle.
Finding another, she'll pull his string, when he thinks he is chosen he feels like a king.
Giving his all to keep her near, calling her beautiful, sweetie and dear.
Of course she's heard it all before, so she heads toward the next closest store.
Ignoring all the sighs and tears but checking her hair in the broken mirror.
In her hand is a tiny key, making it clear she'll never set them free.
