You see what i want you to see
What do you see when you look at me
Do you see my dead hair that i have constantly grabbed and held on to control myself
My green eyes hidden by dark frames hopeing to concel the tears that are always there
The stains that are embeded on the skin of my cheeks from the black tears that constantly fall
My red lips now imperfect and subtly scared from the many times ive bit down to keep the pain inside
Do you see the broken heart that is barely beating inside me and causing so much pain
No, you see a girl with blonde hair and a smile plastered to her face, who looks like she is perfectly happy
You do not see what really goes on inside me and that is how i want it to be
