If Only my Ears Could Shut the Way I Wish His Mouth Would
I'm tired of listening to all of his lies
Excuse after excuse
Too many time have I heard this one
I tell him to just forget it
we are through, and I mean it this time
But he just won't let it go
If only my ears could shut the way I wish his mouth would
It would save me alot of energy
Save me years of crying,
of broken promises
Save me from hearing the message he left on my best friend's phone
The one he left the night I told him I loved him
It would save me from hearing the I Love You he said back
the one I believed he truly meant
It would save me from feeling like a fool for going back to such a jerk
year after year
since the eighth grade
How I would love to take it all back
But just hearing his voice would remind me
of all the pain and suffering I had to live with for so long

I can't say that I could relate to this.
Not really.
Its kind of twisted for me.
This is great.
